An avid animal lover her whole life, Elizabeth May has had an assortment of pets, volunteered at shelters and been involved in the humane treatment and rescue of domestic animals practically since she was able to walk.

In the fall of 2014, Elizabeth incorporated the May HTR Foundation with the express purpose of providing financial support to those shelters, rescue groups, other organizations and individuals who share her love of animals and are working to make their lives better.
